Metal Arts Guild Sign

The Metal Arts Guild sign, first shown at the SNAG Conference last week, was a big success! Many individuals have already signed up to participate in the second phase - making a frame for the Metal Arts Guild sign. Each person will be given a 1" x 1" square (or possibly a larger rectangle depending on the number of volunteers) to embellish in any manner they choose. The "Square" must be finished by July 29th or sooner. That gives you two months for a small job.

If you are interested in participating in this project, please let Harriete Estel Berman know as soon as possible. Members who have not made a letter will be given a priority for this opportunity; this way more members can be part of this memorable project.

Do not start your square yet! You will be mailed a metal component to embellish (along with some guidelines) to assure that all the squares will fit together.

The sign will be viewed at future exhibitions, MAG events and shows. It will be a memorable archive of the Metal Art Guild members.
